FAQ's
What do you charge for shipping? TOP
Right now, I use USPS First Class shipping. For all orders under $60, shipping is a flat rate of $3.00. Purchases of $60 or more will ship FREE! This *includes* International shipping!
Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee upon request. Contact me to make arrangements. I will invoice you separately once we've agreed on the best shipping method. Free shipping is NOT available when expedited shipping is requested. What is your refund policy? TOP
I will do everything I reasonably can to ensure that each and every one of my customers is satisfied with their purchase. I do ask that the customer pay for return shipping unless there is a gross error on my part. If a replacement item is sent to the customer, I will pay the new shipping charges. I feel the is the most fair way to handle shipping on returns. For example, if you're not quite happy with the color of your yarn, I will gladly accept a return when you pay to ship it back to me. I will then either refund your money, or send you a new skein of yarn at my expense. On the other hand, if you ordered blue yarn and I sent you pink yarn, I will pay for all new shipping costs created while trying to fix the error.
Items that are damaged in transit will not be refunded unless insurance is purchased. Please still let me know if items are damaged though. There are some instances where the situation is easily remedied. Who makes the items carried by JL Yarnworks? TOP
Everything you currently see on JL Yarnworks is made by yours truly, with the exception of the bamboo knitting tools, which are created by KaratStix™. As I find more high-quality products, I will add additional vendors' items. Will you carry MY handmade knitting items? TOP Maybe! Feel free to contact me if you think that your product would be a good fit for JL Yarnworks. The item I want says "Out of Stock." When will you be restocking? TOP That would depend on which item you're looking for. Some items, I can make quickly and easily. Others require several days of preparation and creation. Many items I prefer to make in large batches for the sake of efficiency. I am a one-woman operation with two young children, so please be patient! If there is a particular item you are looking for, please email me to discuss specifics. I will do my best to help you! |
